Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution (ME01) – Enhanced Booster Box
This is where the Mega Evolution era began, at full scale. The 36-pack Enhanced Booster Display Box delivers 360 cards from the first new Pokémon TCG series since Sword & Shield — plus an exclusive stamped Bulbasaur Box Topper found in no other ME01 product.
What’s In the Box
- 36× Mega Evolution (ME01) booster packs
- 360× Cards total (10 per pack)
- 36× Basic Energy cards (1 per pack)
- 1× Stamped Bulbasaur Box Topper promo — Enhanced box exclusive
🌿 The Bulbasaur Box Topper
The Enhanced box includes a stamped Illustration Rare–style foil Bulbasaur promo, sealed inside alongside the 36 packs. The ME01 stamp makes it a set-specific variant that can’t be replicated by later reprints — and it appears in no ETB, bundle, or sleeved pack. It’s the entire reason to choose the Enhanced box over the standard one.
★ Chase the Gold Mega Hyper Rares
ME01 introduced the Mega Hyper Rare tier, and only two exist in the whole set: Mega Lucario ex and Mega Gardevoir ex, at roughly 1 in 1,260 packs each — about 7× rarer than Scarlet & Violet golds. Beneath them sit 5 Special Illustration Rares, 22 Illustration Rares and 17 Ultra Rares.
Expected Hits Per Box
- Double Rare (Mega ex) — 1 in 5 packs, about 7 per box
- Illustration Rare — 1 in 9 packs, about 4 per box
- Ultra Rare — 1 in 12 packs, about 3 per box
- Special Illustration Rare — 1 in 101 packs, so about 1 every 3 boxes
- Mega Hyper Rare (gold) — 1 in 1,260 packs
Rates from TCGPlayer’s study of 5,000+ ME01 packs. Individual box results vary considerably.
Featured Mega Evolution Pokémon ex
Nearly a dozen debut in ME01. They evolve from their base ex forms without ending your turn — but give up 3 Prize cards when knocked out.
Why the Full Box
- The Box Topper is box-only — the stamped Bulbasaur exists nowhere else
- Best per-pack value — lower cost per pack than the ETB or Booster Bundle
- Improved pull rates — IRs and URs hit more often in ME01 than in Scarlet & Violet sets
- Playset depth — multiple copies of Lucario and Gardevoir for real deck-building
ME01 Formats Compared
- 1 pack — Sleeved Booster Pack, 4 collectible pack arts, ideal gift
- 6 packs — Booster Bundle, entry-level value
- 9 packs — Elite Trainer Box, plus Riolu or Alakazam promo and accessories
- 36 packs — Enhanced Booster Box (this product), plus the Bulbasaur Box Topper
